ICT Introduction
The Department has six well-resourced classrooms with interactive whiteboards, projectors and Internet access.
There are 5 full time members of staff and several part time.
ICT is a core subject throughout the school.
At Key Stage 3 ICT is taught as a stand alone subject and pupils follow a structured course that leads in Year 9 to the beginning of a GNVQ course.
At Key Stage 4 ICT is a core subject with all pupils following a GNVQ course based on the Thomas Telford School scheme of work.
In the Sixth form, ICT/Computing is a popular subject with groups following AS, A2 and AVC courses.
Standards of attainment in ICT at the end of both Key Stages 3 and 4 are above national expectations, as are our results at A/S and A2 Level.
