                      - One solo, one ensemble and another free work worth 30%
                     Composition Coursework:
                     - Two pieces using acoustic and computer skills worth 30%
                      One creative task in Improvisation   worth 15%

 composing, arranging and mixing.
• attend regular voice or instrumental lessons.
• have opportunities to use the recording studio.
• listen to and analyse a wide range of music.

You will be expected to...

LISTEN to a wide range of music from different time periods and from around the world.
 PRACTISE your instrument regularly and with dedication. COMPOSE your own music in a variety of styles.
PERFORM music on a regular basis, both as a soloist and as part of a small group.

Studying this subject could lead to...

A/S and A2 Level Music Technology, available in the Sixth Form.
A professional or related career in music: performing; composing; teaching; working in the entertainment industry as a sound engineer or producer; working in multi¬media; working in a library or artists' agency; music therapy; or the opportunity to perform in professional dramatic, operatic or music society productions.
