MODULE - TEXTILES MULTI-MEDIA COLLAGE

Aims of the Module
To introduce you to textile design and the design process.
To introduce you to a sewing machine.
To investigate both the practical and aesthetic qualities of fabric.
To interpret the world around you in textiles under the influence of The Impressionist Artists.
To create line, tone, colour and texture using a variety of textile media and methods.
To encourage critical evaluation of your own work and that of others.

MODULE - PRODUCT DESIGN A PUPIL ORGANISER COVER

Aims of the Module
To raise awareness of the principles of Graphic Design.
To analyse basic graphic products.
To gain knowledge of folding mechanisms, adhesives and fastening methods.
To gain basic knowledge and experience of Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Machinery.
To gain knowledge and experience of the properties and qualities of plastics.
